ChatCool - Privacy Policy

As a heads up before reading, we would like you to know that is Privacy Policy describes how user data is used in ChatCool. Just so you know, while reading, "User" would be you, and "We" or "Us" will take note as the ChatCool Developers.
What We Store
- Once Invited: When ChatCool joins a server, the bot records the Server ID, and Server Name in a .txt file which displays all guilds its in. - Dashboard: Opon every user that logs into the ChatCool Dashboard, data will be saved that displays the User ID. - User Blacklist: Once a user is blacklisted from using the bot, ChatCool stores data of the users ID, and Blacklist Reason. - Server Blacklist: Similar to user blacklist, when a server is blacklisted from the bot, its Server ID and Blacklist Reason will be stored. - Giveaways: Once a giveaway is done, the bot stores its Message ID, Channel ID, Guild ID, starting & ending time, winner count, prize, host's ID (user ID of who hosted the giveaway), and finally the winner's ID. - Birthdays: When a Server Moderator setups the birthday category, the Channel that it was setup in will have it's ID logged as well as the Server ID logged. When someone sets their birthday on a server, the server ID, user ID, and the date of the birthday are all stored on the database. Lastly, a developer action for birthdays will be logged to the database with the users birthday.
- Suggestions: The only thing that the bot stores for the suggestion category when a setup is made is the id of the channel selected, and the server's id as well. - Notepad: For the notepad category, the bot stores your specific embed-setup, which includes your User ID, the footer you made, the timestamp choice, the description you made, and color you chose. It also stores the content of each one of your notes that you add to your notepad.
How Long We Store Data
All data that is stored on ChatCool's database will remain there permenantly unless removed by Developers or if a user requests their data to be erased. If you would like your data removed from the bot's databases, just join the support server which is embeded in the "Contact Us" button on the top right of the page and then contact the Owner.
Why We Store Data
ChatCool stores data because without, the giveaway system would not be able to function, because it needs to use data to fetch current giveaways, pause & resume, start & end, reroll & edit, and view the active giveaways list. Also, with not storing data, users and guilds would be to abuse the bot and not get punished since blacklisting requires data.
Data is also stored for the birthday category in order for the bot to know if there is a valid birthday channel setup, know when to send the birthday message, have a check command, and also in order to display a user's birthday on the list command.
Next, we store data for the suggestions category so the bot knows where to send the suggestion embeds to. Without this,the bot cannot operate the suggestion setup made. Another reason why we store data is for the Notepad category. The bot requires the embed-setup data for when displaying the notepad to the user and also requires access to the note data so it can display the notes to the user and operate the entire notepad category. Without this, the category would not be able to function as intended. The last reason why we store data is for one of our biggest features, the dashboard. Every time you login, we need to store data to use the jsonwebtoken (making a secure connection) and to know when you will be auto logged out after 1 day.
Handling Data
You are not able to request all your data that was stored on our Databases, but you may request a data wipe by joining the Support Server listed in the top right as "Contact Us" and further contacting the bot owner.
